Episode 10 | Sam Brown

"Fierce conversations are scary to people and maybe that's why emotion scares the average Joe."

Sam Brown is the director of Corporate Marketing at BrandVia. After moving to the US determined to pass her time doing yoga on the daily, she quickly found herself looking for a new challenge to take on. Fast forward to 2019, with a number of things happening in-between, and now she's here with us today.

Sam shares her incredible insight into the perception of passion vs. emotion as it pertains to gender. During this episode she shares some of her thoughts with us and leaves us with quite a bit to think about. Tune in and let us know your thoughts in the comments below, or on social media under @badasswomenofpromo. Happy listening!

** Side note: I (Charity) am not a professional podcaster. I'm simply a girl with a vision who has set out to share the stories of the incredible women of promo. Because of this, you may occasionally hear a phone ring, computer ding, and a myriad of other things. I do my best to edit these things out, but this is an unpaid gig I do in my spare time. For me, it's more important to have fun, talk about things that we feel matter, and do the best we can while accepting our limitations. Personally, I don't feel like it's about being perfect. It's more about being real. If you're still reading and sticking around to listen after all that. Thanks for riding it out with me and the guests while we learn and grow together. YOU my friend, are a total badass.
